Analyst based Portsmouth 70 days contract working 3 days a week, Rate c£300 a day
Applicants will need a sound understanding of the C4ISTAR area and its relationship to other domains (Air/Land/Maritime)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work unsupervised and coordinate effectively the work of others
Track record of delivering results to tight timescales
Experience of MOD research programme management
Sound understanding of the Defence Technology Plan process and the roles of the participating authorities
Experience of Dstl working practices and applications
Deep understanding of at least one of the Maritime, Land or Air environments, with a good understanding of the others
Proven track record of supporting the development of research requirements across one or more domains
The analyst will be required to support the Information Systems (IS) domain and tasks will include:-
Liaison with staff and users to develop and maintain detailed research activity descriptions within the framework of the technology plan.
Managing coherence between research undertaken within and beyond the IS domain to ensure the combined out puts are capable of delivering the intended benefits.
Planning and monitoring the implementation of the IS domain strategy.
Developing approaches to collaborative working across the IS domain
