Project Manager – Air Traffic Management Systems – Hampshire
Salary: 35k to 45k basic + benefits
Location: Hampshire
Our client specialise in the design of the next generation of Flight Data Processing Equipment.
The Role
Having secured a multimillion pound contract, they are seeking a Project Manager to work with their client as part of a small dynamic team
engaged on the management of all phases of the project from design,
installation, commissioning and testing through to long term support activities.
Responsibilities
- Producing Test Plans, Procedures and Reports. Report to the customer
on test evolution. Support Test Manager Coordination activities.
- Production of Project Scope Statement, WBS and Schedule,
supported by a Project Management Office.
- Production of Progress Reports and reporting to the customer, in
particular using management metrics.
- Management of the Risk processes: identification, assessment,
mitigation.
- Coordination of project activities.
- Ensure on time, quality and schedule delivery of the projects.
- Scope verification of the projects.
- Cost control of the projects reporting.
- Support development of the Company’s infrastructure in UK to support their
products delivered to their customer. Identify staff requirements and
contract staff in coordination with senior executives
- Support the Company’s commercial strategy in UK.
Key skills / qualities
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will ultimately lead the UK team. The role is customer facing so a candidate with good verbal and written communication skills is essential. Key skills and experience as follows:-
- Air Traffic Management technical knowledge.
- Project Management background.
- Customer orientation.
- Communication skills, leadership
Qualifications
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
- Prince 2 qualified is desirable.
Package
Basic annual salary plus
Flexible working hours, 25 days annual holiday entitlement plus public
holidays.

35 Hour Week 9am to 5pm, Mon-Thurs, 9 am to 2:30 pm Friday, but may be
required to work extra hours and weekends if there are project demands
